The Nelsonville Area Chamber of Commerce supports events and activities that bring tourists into the area.

Below are a few to consider:

• Final Fridays on The Square, the last Friday each month throughout year, except December
• Nelsonville Music Festival at Hocking College
• Alumni Weekend during the end of May
• Thunder In the Valley 4th of July Celebration at Hocking College
• International Bow-Hunters Competition at Hocking College in July
• Gus Macker 3on3 0n 33 Basketball Tournaments in July
• Parade of The Hills - 3rd full weekend in August on the Public Square
• Ohio Smoked Meat and BBQ Festival, the third weekend in October on the Nelsonville Public Square
• North Pole Nelsonville every Friday, Saturday & Sunday from November 26th to
  January 2nd at the Nelson Commons Park on Route 33.
